The University of Calgary is a public research university located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The University of Calgary started in 1944 as the Calgary branch of the University of Alberta, founded in 1908, prior to being instituted into a separate, autonomous university in 1966.

All international applicants for whom English is not the native tongue must provide proof of competence in the English language.

International Entrance Scholarships and Awards

International Baccalaureate Diploma Entrance Scholarships
20 scholarships valued at $3,500 each available for students entering the University of Calgary in the fall term who have completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program with a minimum score of 35. You must provide the Admissions Office with a transcript of your International Baccalaureate Diploma grades by August 1 of the year in which you are entering the university.	$3,500

Eligibility:

• You must be admitted directly from high school into the first year of an undergraduate degree program for the upcoming fall term
• Eligibility criteria differ for each award; review details carefully
• Scholarship Average: required for all competitive high school awards and calculated using your 20-level high school grades (grade 11 for non-Alberta students) or 30-level grades (grade 12) if available. Comparable IB courses may also be used.

Nationality: International students are eligible to apply.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have previous degree.

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirement: All international applicants for whom English is not the native tongue must provide proof of competence in the English language.
